Bassett, while in high-school was a fan of John Steinbeck's play Of Mice and Men with James Earl Jones and she was inspired to be an actor. The year was 1980 and Bassett completed her studies at Yale University New Haven Connecticut with a degree in African American studies. She earned a diploma from The Yale School of Drama. She was married in 1997. got married to Courtney B. Vance who was an actor in the same group. Qualification: B.A. The Yale School of Drama awarded an M.A. in Fine Arts in African American Studies to Angela Basssett in 1980. The school she attended was the following schools: Jordan Park elementary school, Disston Middle School for students in 7th grade, Azalea Middle School for the 8th and 9th grade in addition to Boca Ciega High School. Angela Bassett has been cast in the lead role of Ramonda for the action adventure film, i.e. Black Panther: Wakanda forever (2022).
